It is a halogenated ionic chemical at room temperature. The classic salt we know is Sodium Chloride. It has similar properties with it. It even has more effective features. It has the ability to absorb moisture from the air. That's why it's called a thirsty chemical. It has different forms. These are its aqueous and non-aqueous forms. The chemical, which is in food grade form, is used as a source of calcium in cheese brining and brewing. In winter, icing occurs on highways. Sodium chloride (Salt) and Calcium Chloride, which has a greater defrosting or blocking ability than this, are used to prevent icing or to melt ice when icing occurs. It is applied by sprinkling or pouring in liquid form if ice formation on the roads or if icing occurs.
