Pentaerythritol Esters are obtained as a result of the esterification reaction of Gum Rosin with Pentaerythritol. Pentaerythritol esters have low initial color and excellent adhesion.
Pentaerythritol Ester Resins (Penta Ester Resins) tend to have a higher softening point than resin esters with glycerin. They have good resistance to yellowing and heat. Compatible with natural and synthetic rubbers, Penta ester resins dissolve well in Esters, ethers, ketones, aromatic and aliphatic solvents.
