SUPETRO LP 2051 is a premium performance additive package developed for the formulation of passenger car motor oils meeting the latest API SQ and ILSAC GF-7 performance requirements. Based on the proven technology platform of SUPETRO additive systems previously designed for API SP, this package has been further optimized to address the increased performance demands of modern turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDI) engines and advanced fuel-efficient powertrains.

SUPETRO LP 2051 incorporates a high-performance dual-detergent system with optimized overbased metallic components, providing excellent piston cleanliness, deposit control, and enhanced resistance to Low-Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI), including protection under aged oil conditions. The carefully balanced combination of primary and secondary premium ZDDP anti-wear components provides an optimized balance between wear protection and extreme pressure (EP) performance, contributing to enhanced timing chain wear protection required by modern engine designs.

A specifically engineered dual friction modifier system, consisting of both metal-organic and ashless organic friction modifiers, delivers excellent friction control and supports fuel economy performance aligned with the requirements of low-viscosity SAE grades such as 0W-20 and 0W-16.

When used at a typical treat rate of 10.4 wt% in appropriate base oil combinations and with suitable viscosity index improvers, SUPETRO LP 2051 supports robust engine protection and long-term performance stability in modern gasoline engines.
